Whippindell Marine is a navy equipment and systems specialist with extensive coverage of naval equipment mainly the heli starting system, from simple power-off and switchover switches to complex control systems for stern gate and weapon handling systems. It has solutions that can be applied to large aircraft carriers as well as water vessels and submarines, and meets the stringent standards required by the Navy and is applied to naval vessels worldwide. Whippindell Marine's system is supplied to the Greek Navy's Fast Attack Craft and the Republic of Korea Navy's LST II, and is applied to all Royal Navy ships, including the latest Type 45 destroyer and the Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carrier currently under construction. Electrix signed a 2013 agent contract with Whippindell Marine, and won the contract for DSME Mars Tankers 4 ships, HHI NZ MSC P158 1 ship, HHI Philippine Frigates 2 ships, and DSME Norway LSV 1 ship for the heli starting system and portable TRUs.
